Lu Wei has over 10 years of working experience in the field of Sino-German Collaborations in sustainability (2007-2017).
Lu Wei was a founding team member of econet china in 2007 under the umbrella of German Industry & Commerce Greater China, where she oversaw the marketing activities and partner relationships.
She worked closely with a large number of German Green solution providers and the local counterparts along value chains of sustainable urban development. Her roles included strategic marketing for industry initiatives, partner acquisition, lobbying & stakeholder management etc. Thanks to this inter-disciplinary & culture, crossfield & functional working experience, which not only offered her a rare unique opportunity to deeply engage in the vibrant green market in China, but also cultivated her multidimensional perspectives while partnering with working groups at different levels, sharp recognitions of diverse interests and needs of stakeholders and competence of communicating & matchmaking resources with an integral thinking.
Since 2017, she works independently on a variety of projects related to supporting the market entry and communications of European Greentech companies in China as well as designing marketing programs for sustainability.
She holds a BA in English, Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communication at the University of Hong Kong and followed a Nature Education Program at Cornell University.
She is continuously following learning paths of sustainability, to further support transformation at the individual level and organizational level.
She speaks English and Chinese.
